Injustice 2 continues the alternate DC Universe storyline from Injustice: Gods Among Us, where Superman's tyrannical Regime has fallen, but new threats emerge. The game follows Batman’s struggle to rebuild society, the rise of a new villain, and the ultimate clash of ideologies between heroes.

Act 1: Aftermath of Superman’s Regime

After Superman was defeated and imprisoned, Batman leads the effort to restore order to the world.
He and his allies, including Green Arrow, Black Canary, and Harley Quinn, fight against remnants of Superman’s forces led by Wonder Woman, Black Adam, and Supergirl.
A new threat appears—The Society, a group of villains led by Gorilla Grodd, who wants to establish his own rule.

Act 2: The Arrival of Brainiac

It turns out Grodd is working for Brainiac, a powerful alien AI who collects and destroys planets.
Brainiac’s invasion forces Batman and Superman’s factions to work together.
